Due to the on-going challenges faced in the development process for ISO 45001, the publication of the new standard is now expected to be in 2018. Many clients have held off gaining certification to OHSAS 18001:2007 in the anticipation of the new ISO 45001 standard being released. Our advice is don’t delay in implementing your occupational health and safety management system any further.
Implementing the OHSAS 18001:2007 can be done with visibility of the High Level Structure (HLS), allowing you to be better prepared for migration to ISO 45001 when it’s published. We will offer the same transition service as we did with the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 should you wish for CQS to assist you with this. As ever, we will keep you informed via our website, social media feeds and newsletters as we get updates on the new ISO 45001.”
